Page This site provides one-stop surfing. This extremely well-organized
site divides the government up into its branches: Executive, Legislative,
and Judicial, and provides links to almost every conceivable government
site. In addition, it provides links to government agencies and quasi-agencies
(such as the post office). A great site to bookmark.

THOMAS: Legislative Information on the
Internet This site, sponsored by Congress, provides access to full-text
of the Congressionl Record, Bill Summaries and Status, floor activities,
historical document, public laws, and a host of other resources.

Federal JOBS
Database of jobs through the federal government.

U.S. Census Bureau Home Page Provides
many statistical resources from the Census Bureau (though not all of the
information available through traditional print resources can be found
here yet). Also features a population clock which gives estimates of the
U.S. and world population on a periodic basis.

U.S. Business Advisor Information
on governement contracts, a "How-to" section, etc. The stated goal of this
government sponsored site is to "provide business with one-stop access
to federal government information, services, and transactions."

provides information about the FEC, the federal election financing rules
agency.
