Children who participated in the Authors and Illustrators workshops will read from their original works, receive special citations and enjoy celebratory refreshments.

A workshop led by Michele Ryan and Karen Schereumann will help students in 7th to 12th grade prepare for the new school year by showing great tips on organizing homework and study and excelling on school assignments.

Children in grades 1 through 3 can make original games, box monsters, sun catchers and fabric collages at an afterschool workshop led by Patti Clements.

Artist and teacher Carol Cotten conducts this special two-session art workshop for homeschooled students in grades 3 through 6. The second session is Thursday, September 25, at the same time.

Student Writers’ Workshop
Thursdays at 1 p.m.
Using the Excellence in Writing Program of Andrew Pudewa, Karen Schereumann will guide homeschoolers and others in 7th through 12th grade with the strategies in research, reference and writing needed to earn “A’s” in school assignments.

Michele Ryan presents an early literacy program of rhymes, songs, finger play and stories that will help children from birth through 2 years of age to develop pre-reading skills.
READY, SET, READ
Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
This early literacy story hour includes songs, rhymes and activities designed to help children aged 3 to 5 years develop essential pre-reading skills.
THE STORY CORNER
Mondays at 10 a.m.
Patti Clements leads a program of stories, songs, rhymes and crafts for toddlers and preschool
children and their parents.
