Monday at 2:30 p.m.
Computer whiz Brenda Best will teach novices how to “surf” the World Wide Web on the Internet, including standard “navigation” and use of browsers and search engines.

Computers for Beginners, Part 4
Monday at 2:30 p.m.
Computer whiz Brenda Best will cover all the basics of e-mail, from setting up a free account to “mailing.”

Friends’ Holiday Book Sale
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friends of the Oneida Library are putting out the best of the donated books in the library’s Meeting Room for holiday shoppers. The sale also features local authors who will be offering their own books for sale and signing. Included are Matthew Dunn, Randi Hull, Barbara Linsley, Mike Langan and Jim Furney.

Carols and Tales
Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Oneida Library is starting a new tradition just for the grown-ups, a special program of singing and dramatic readings called Carols and Tales under the musical direction of Melinda Feldmann. The performance will be followed at 8 p.m. with a reception serving homemade sweets and wassail, an old English drink specially made for the season.
