When we went to the Adirondack museum we learned about how to make butter with a butter churn. We also learned what tools were used like the pitchfork, cradle scythe, hay rake, butter churn, and a skimmer which is used to make cream.
we liked it when we learned about the merchant who would carry some luxury items like coffee grinder, rug beater, and a dress ruffler. The last thing I liked is how we learned that horses were used to carry wheat back home & to pull a wagon.
At the Adirondack Museum we learned that loggers had to ice the roads so they wouldn't get slushy. We also learned what tools were used like the pike pole, peavey, cant hook, stamper, cross cut saw, and double headed ax.We also got to see how logs.were moved.
We learned lots of facts at the museum. I hope we will go again, because we had fun!
