OUR TRIP TO THE ADIRONDACK BLUE MT. MUSEUM

On our trip to the Adirondack museum at Blue Mt., N.Y. we learned about logging and farming.

When we studied logging we learned how many trees a man using a 2 headed axe could cut and we found out they can cut 50 trees a day. They could cut 150 trees a day with a 2 person saw.

When we learned about farming we learned about the cradle scythe, pitch fork and the yolk

They used the cradle scythe to cut the crop. They used the pitchfork to scoop hay and they used the yolk to carry stuff.

That is what we learned at the Adirondack Blue MT., N.Y Museum.
