PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

This past spring  we had two adult programs. Helen Pettrucione, a master gardener, spoke on herbs and potpourri. She had many samples and handouts. An evening of singing and dancing by the Celtic dancers was also held. There was also audience participation in a dance

The summer reading program provided many different experiences. Matt DiNardo talked about weather, answered questions, and showed a video of violent weather.

The Empire Opera Theater performed several songs related to books. Nancy Sanders performed a puppet show. Cynthia Hommey presented  “Tales from a Trunk”.

The New York Mills Police Department presented a bike safety program. They  set up a mini obstacle course in the village parking lot. They gave a talk on safety, and gave helmets to those who needed them. They ended their program with pizza.

The Girl Scouts presented three different story hours and crafts programs. The season ended with a cake in the shape of the theme bag.
