Many pleasant and lasting effects have been accomplished on Saturday, July 10, 2000. The warm afterglow of the New Millennium Bell Dedication is still with the people of New York Mills. New friendships were made, old acquaintances were rediscovered and the village was transformed to the best it could be. Deep appreciation goes to the artists, the clergy, the committee and the generosity of the donors who gave effort, equipment, time and money to this magnificent project. The beautiful Bell Monument can only increase in value for our future generations. It was a privilege and honor to serve as chairman on the Bell Monument Committee
