I grew up
locally most of my life. During my high school years, I spent some time in
commercial arts studying design layouts for contemporary magazine companies.
In addition, I created product labels for various subjects. After
graduation, I spent the next 16 years in Florida. Upon returning home and due
to a life change, I started charcoal drawing again. After seeing a dear
friends’ exhibit, I found the courage to show my work. Soon after, I
explored the use of pastels and this only enhanced my creations. By taking my
own photographs of inspiring images, each piece of art is a reflection of
that moment in time, “pure emotion” in my world. With Debra
Hoagland’s support, it allowed me to rekindle a talent that was already
there convincing me to spread my wings and fly. Paula Morrow with her pastel artwork,
