“I have always liked to draw,” says the artist. “I started drawing horses about the same time I began
riding, at age eleven. I’m still riding and drawing, but rocks, flowers and water, as well as animals,
are my favorite subjects now.”

Perry attended the College of Wooster and Ohio University for her bachelor of fine arts degree, and
Syracuse University for a masters degree in education. She taught at West Genesee Junior High School,
Pleasant Street School in Manlius and has substituted in the Cazenovia School District. She taught for
one year at the New Woodstock School. She joined the Cazenovia Watercolor Society 15 years ago.
She also belongs to the Onondaga Art Guild and the Central New York Watercolor Society.

Now teaching watercolor painting in her home, Perry exhibits her work throughout central New York,
