The reception is free and all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served. The artists will be present to discuss their works. Bob
and Bobbie Stinson graduated from Cazenovia High School in l964. They were high school
sweethearts. After college, they
were married in Cazenovia and built a house on l0 acres in Fenner. Bob has been in banking for over 40 years and
Bobbie in child care for l5 years. Bobbie’s
father and grandfathers always had a camera with them when they traveled and
Bobbie does the same. “My camera is almost as important as my
pocketbook when I leave the house,” Bobbie said. “My family has been very patient
with me through the years because I often asked Bob to pull over on the side
of the road so I could take a picture,” she said. Bob’s
reply to all the picture taking was “We should
have stock in Kodak!” “My
mother was an elementary school art teacher here in Cazenovia. My sister and
I spent many hours helping her prepare her student’s art work for the
art exhibit. I guess that is why I enjoy matting the prints we have,”
Bobbie said. Bob
has done some of the photographing too and does all the computer work for
their business, “Images by Stinson”. “It
is really just a hobby for us but we hope people have gotten some pleasure
from our photographs,” Bob said. The
couple’s prints include the Fenner windmills,
the Adirondacks, Maine, Glacier Park, Colorado, the Canadian Rockies, the
Swiss Alps, and France. They love to photograph scenery because it is
God’s creation, they said. |
