Brett and Danielle Axelson were my first owners and they named me Stripey as I had stripes when I was younger. That was back in 2001. They had me for 4 years before giving to Kyle, PJ and Molly Brown in 2005. When the Axelson's had me, I shared a cage with 2 friends- 2 fat tail lizards and at another point an albino lizard. When I came to live with the Brown's, I was in a tank all by myself. They loved to hold me so I had lots of love and attention.
I came to live at the library at the beginning of March 2009 after the adults won the Winter Reading Program and voted on getting a library lizard as a pet. Since being here, I have learned to love my new family and my surroundings. I like music and usually come over to listen to the radio when it's on. I am very happy to have a name now and hope to bring joy to all the patrons when they are here!
