Morrisville Public Library
Building Restoration Fund

Did you know this building has been a library for 104 years and counting?  It was built in 1850 as a residence.  In 1903, Susana Phelps Gage gave her parent's home to the Village of Morrisville to serve as a library.  When we initially opened the doors in December 1903, we had only 760 volumes on our shelves and patrons were only allowed to check out one item at a time.  Now, we house over 15,000 items.  The building is bursting at the seams!

Help us rebuild and restore the library!

We need to renovate the upstairs,
purchase an elevator and expand the program room.
If you would like to help, please send a monetary donation to:  Michelle Forward, Morrisville Public Library, PO Box 37, Morrisville NY 13408 OR stop in and drop it off during library hours.
If you have a specialized skill and could donate your time to this project, please stop into the library or call 315-684-9130 and speak to Michelle Forward.
Thank you for any help you can give us in restoring this historic building!
