MOVIE CHECK OUT POLICIES
- All videos and DVD's MUST be checked out on the parent's
(adult's) card. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! We do allow a letter
from the parent to allow their child to use their library card. A
note will then be added to the parent record on the computer stating
this so the staff at the Library will know.
- If a child gets permission to use his/her parent's card to check
out movies, we abide by the MPAA movie rating system. If a child
is 13, he/she may check out a movie that is G, PG or PG-13. A
person who is 17 may check out movies that are rated G, PG, PG-13 and
R. Only adults (ages 18 and over) may check out unrated movies at
our library.
- Videos and DVD's are on loan for 2 days. You may renew them twice before returning them to the library.
- Late fees for videos and DVD's are $1 a day per video/DVD.
- Patrons can ONLY take 4 videos and DVD's out at one time.
- We offer a book drop outside the front door (the brown mailbox).
If the library is not open when you stop by, please drop your movies in there to avoid late fees.
- We do allow renewing materials over the phone. If you
cannot return a movie, feel free to call the library at 684-9130 and
speak to a librarian or leave a message on the answering machine.
