BOOK SALE POLICY

The Annual Book Sale is a fundraising project by the Friends of the Library.  Books and other materials for the sale will be stored in the book barns located on the property of the Morrisville Public Library.

The Library Manager assumes responsibility for reviewing and determining which materials remain for use in and for the direct benefit of the Morrisville Public Library.

In addition, the Library Board of Trustees will take full responsibility for promoting, scheduling, and implementing the Annual Book Sale.  The Trustees will also appoint a Book Sale Coordinator from their Board to head the preparation, etc.

The Friends of the Library will schedule their members to work the cashier table and their organization will retain all proceeds from the Annual Sale.

The Library Manager reserves the right to schedule, promote, manage, and implement other fundraising events, including the sale of books and other reading materials.  The Morrisville Public Library retains any proceeds earned during these sales.
