BOOK SALE POLICY
The Annual Book Sale is a
fundraising project by the Friends of the Library. Books and other
materials for the sale will be stored in the book barns located on the property
of the Morrisville Public Library.
The Library Manager
assumes responsibility for reviewing and determining which materials remain for
use in and for the direct benefit of the Morrisville Public Library.
In addition, the Library
Board of Trustees will take full responsibility for promoting, scheduling, and
implementing the Annual Book Sale. The
Trustees will also appoint a Book Sale Coordinator from their Board to head the
preparation, etc.
The Friends of the
Library will schedule their members to work the cashier table and their
organization will retain all proceeds from the Annual Sale.
The Library Manager reserves the right to schedule, promote, manage, and
implement other fundraising events, including the sale of books and other
reading materials. The Morrisville Public Library retains any proceeds earned
during these sales.
