This Friday November 2 at 6:30pm join us for Family Feud!  Bring the family in and play the feud.  We will make teams that night!   (Please note:  "families" don't have to be relatives.  Grab a few of your friends and join in the fun!)  It will be tournament style until we find the ultimate “family” winners!

For all the people who completed the Flat Quiz, the Flat Food Party will be Monday November 5 at 6:30pm.  Get those quizzes in! Flat Quizzes need to be returned to the library by 8pm on October 31.  Any adult or child completing one is welcome to attend this event!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday November 6 for “Let’s be Silly!”  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come here songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make that week, join them November 20 for “Books I am Thankful For”.

The Book Talk for November will be Ahab’s Wife by Sena Naslund.  Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk.  Then join us for an enlightening discussion with facilitator, Roxanna Pisiak, on Friday November 9 at 7pm.

On Saturday November 10 at 11am, teens should come and join some Morrisville State College students as they share their college experiences.  Is going to college right for you?  Find out and ask them questions as well.

Join us for Turkey night on Wednesday November 14 at 6:30pm.  We will learn about turkeys, do some turkey crafts and play some turkey games.  What do you know about turkeys?

Travel through time with Sue Greenhagen and Judy Lyrek on Monday November 19 at 6:30pm.  See and hear about Eaton’s historic places.  Featuring some of the more historically significant, architecturally interesting houses in Eaton.  Presented by Judy Lyrek and Sue Greenhagen.

The library will be closed on Monday November 12 to observe Veteran’s Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.  We will also be closed on Thursday November 22 to observe Thanksgiving.  We will be open Friday and Saturday after.

Lots of new books have been coming in!  Grab some for the cooler days ahead!  Some are: Protect and Defend by Vince Flynn, The Heir by Barbara Taylor Bradford, The Race by Richard North Patterson, Amazing Grace by Danielle Steel, Stone Cold by Dean Koontz, Creation in Death by JD Robb, Third Degree by Greg Iles, The Chase by Clive Cussler, World Without End by Ken Follett, Exit Ghost by Philip Roth and Clapton by Eric Clapton.
