Join us this Friday September 19 at 6:30pm to celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day!!!  Throw on your best swashbuckling outfit and stop in as we learn all about pirates and play some games as well!

On Wednesday September 24 at 6:30pm be sure to come to our Elves, Giants and Wizards night! Do you enjoy a good fantasy story?  Join us for Elves, Giants and Wizards night then!  There will be stories, crafts followed by a game of Elves, Giants and Wizards.

On Friday September 26 at 6pm, we will be having another Family Movie Night.  Can you guess what movie it is if I say it’s about a guy named Speed that competes in a racing event in an attempt to save his family’s business?  If you know what movie it is, stop in and see it with us!  Refreshments will be provided and bring something comfy to sit in!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, will be beginning soon!  PLEASE NOTE: Due to scheduling, the program will start at 9:30am and run until 10:30am.  The library will be open at 9:30am for story hour participants only!  So join us Tuesday October 7 for Perfect Pets!

The book talk series will begin again soon!  The first book being discussed is Sara Gruen’s Water for Elephants.  Copies can be picked up now for the talk on Friday October 3 at 7pm.

We are in dire need of new programming room chairs.  We are starting a collection to purchase them.  If you would like to contribute please send, or stop in and drop off a monetary donation.  Checks can be made to the Morrisville Public Library.  Thank you for your contribution!

Banned Book Week is coming up on September 27.  Head to our website and check out the banned books of this year!  www.midyork.org/morrisville/bannedbooks.html.  Read a few and see if you think they should be banned!

Don’t forget, September is National Library Card Month!  If you don’t have a library card, stop in and get one today!
