The library is a busy place right now!  As school is finishing up and the weather is getting nicer people are coming in to get some good books to read or books on gardening, landscaping and more!  We can help you find any book you need!  Just ask any of the library staff members for help!

Join us for Family Feud Night this Friday June 8 at 6:30pm.  Sign your "family" (teams of 3-5 people) up at the circulation desk beforehand if you can.  We will make teams that night too!   (Please note:  "families" don't have to be relatives.  Grab a few of your friends and join in the fun!)  It will be tournament style until we find the ultimate family winners!  Michelle Forward, Library Manager, will be the "host".  Refreshments will be provided.

Our Gameboy Club will meet again this Saturday June 9 from 1-4pm.  Come in and share games and have fun with other Gameboy enthusiasts.  You can only bring 3 games with your gameboy and EVERYTHING must be marked with your name.

Join us on Wednesday June 13 at 6:30pm as we make gifts for Dad for Father’s Day.  All kids can stop in and make something to give Dad on his special day!

The Scrapbook Club on Saturday June 16 from 1-4pm has been cancelled.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.  There will be no more scrapbook club until fall as July and August are devoted to our Summer Reading Program.

"Christian Chick Lit" author, Christina Heidi Beiderbecke will be here presenting her novel, Left Me Wondering...will I ever walk this path with a man? on Wednesday June 20 at 6:30pm.  Books will be available for purchase too.

Calling all TEENS!  Join us on Friday June 22 at 6:30pm as we watch the movie, The Great Gatsby.   Books are available through the library system if you would like to compare the book to the movie either before or after the viewing.  This program is the second in a series of many of the theme, The Pursuit of Happiness. We were awarded the “We the People Bookshelf” grant and have received several books on this topic. All 19 books will be located in the Children’s Room on the bookshelf by the big windows.  Stop in and browse the selection and check out a few! 

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday June 19 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room.  The public is encouraged to attend.  If you do plan on attending, please use the back door as the library is closed.
