Join us this Friday March 2 at 6:30pm
for our Whistle for Willie puppet show.
We had to reschedule due to the weather.
Please come in and view the show and see all the hard work the kids have
put in to this! This event made possible
due to a grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation.
On Monday March 5 from 1-3pm
we are having a Telephone tax relief program for Seniors. Anyone who has had long distance telephone
service in the last three years and/or, if you have not filed income taxes, is
eligible for this $30-60 rebate. Age 60
and over can stop into the library during this time for assistance in
completing this rebate.
Also on Monday March 5 Jim Ford will be at the library at 6:30pm. View a slide show and hear him talk about his
4 volume history called FOOTPRINTS THROUGH TIME. At this time only Journal One,
1785-1881 is available, but the others will be published throughout the rest of
this year. The first journal will be on display for purchasing and for
autographing tonight.
On Friday March 9 at 6:30pm
we will be having Card Game night at the library. Bring your favorite card game and join
others. Refreshments will be provided.
On Saturday March 10 from 12-2pm
join us in the Library’s Program Room for the ER Andrews Elementary Art
Reception. See the beautiful artwork on
display and meet some of the artists.
Kiddies Korner will be about Sheep on Tuesday March 13 at 10:30am. Bring your toddler or preschool child in for
stories, songs, activities and more! If
you can’t make that day, join them on Tuesday March 27 for bunnies and an
Easter Egg Hunt. Copies of the complete
story hour schedule can be obtained at the circulation desk.
The March Adult Book Talk is almost upon us!
The book being discussed this month is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Copies can be picked up now at the
circulation desk. Join the discussion on
Wednesday March 14 at noon. Bring a light lunch or snack for yourself
too!

Patrick’s Day early! Wear green and come
and enjoy some green crafts and activities and some green food!!!
The Gameboy club will be meeting on Saturday March 17 from 2-4pm. Come in and share games and have fun with
other Gameboy enthusiasts. You can only
bring 3 games with your gameboy and EVERYTHING must be marked with your
name. Bring a nutritious snack to share
as well. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME!
