Hi! I am SO ready for spring to arrive! Is anyone else sick
of shoveling snow day after day after day? Be sure to stop into
the library to end those winter blues. We have lots of new books
and videos. We can definitely help you find something to forget
all about this snow!
Did you know that besides books and videos we also have CD's,
books on tape and large print books? Whatever we don't have,
we are more than willing to order for you from another library
and this service is FREE! In a matter of days we can have almost
anything you are looking for (excluding new materials which take
longer sometimes to receive).
Don't feel like asking us to order something for you? Check
out the web catalog through our website www.midyork.org/morrisville.
If you need help learning how to access it from home to order
materials, anyone at the circulation desk would be more than
happy to assist you. Feel free to call with questions also.
I love being able to order books from home when I have the time
to search and find just the right ones.
We also have six computers with internet access. You can
browse the internet, check your email, play games, or whatever.
The computers also have Microsoft Word so you can type documents,
make signs, posters, anything you want. If you would like to
learn how to do these things on the computer we can guide you
through the processes.
Some other services the library has to offer include: faxes
($1.00 a fax to receive, $1.00 to send and $.10 each additional
page); copies ($.10 each) and we have a scanner to scan pictures,
documents etc. into the computer (for free).
The Friends of the Library are selling their library bags
for $8 each. All proceeds benefit the library. They are very
durable and are great to carry books to and from the library
in. They are a perfect gift for the book lover in your family.
Bags may be purchased at the circulation desk.
