The entire month of February we will be hosting an animal needs drive to benefit Wanderer’s Rest.  There are several items they could use for cats and dogs.  Go to our website and click on “Animal Supply Drive” for a description of items for donation.  Drop donated items off at the library during library hours.  Thank you for your help and for thinking of our furry friends this winter season!

Due to receiving a grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation we have created a puppet show of his book, Whistle For Willie.  The young patrons are ready to perform!  Come see the show this Friday February 16 at 6:30pm.

Need to find time to scrapbook?  In a rut and need new ideas?  Bring your tools and pages and join the club this Saturday February 17 at 1pm!  Work on your current project with other fellow scrapbookers in the area.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday February 20 at 6:30pm.  The public is welcome to attend.

Calling all teens!!!!  We are having a karaoke night on Friday February 23 at 6:30pm.  Stop into the library and try your hand at karaoke!  Wow your friends and have a ball!!  Feel free to bring CD's of your own!

On Monday February 26 at 6:30pm, Natalie from Holly’s Garden will be here to teach adults how to make a floral arrangement.  It will cost $15.50 per person (for the materials) and you must register at the circulation desk by Saturday February 24 at 4pm.  Everyone completing the program will have a floral arrangement (that they made) to take home.

Kiddies Korner will be about Dinosaurs on Tuesday February 27 at 10:30am.  Bring your toddler or preschool child in for stories, songs, activities and more!  If you can’t make that day, join them on Tuesday March 13 for sheep.  Copies of the complete story hour schedule can be obtained at the circulation desk.

Hoodie Hoo night is coming to the library on Wednesday February 28 at 6:30pm.  Do you know what hoodie hoo is (means)?  Better bring the family in that night to find out!  Lots of fun and activities to be had!

Stop in and view Maxine Hunter’s watercolors on display now in the program room.  They will be on display the entire month of February.  Also, Johanne Purple has her ABC’s on display in the front foyer.   Both are wonderful!  Come in and see them!

Its tax time again already!  We do not have any forms here at the library but we can guide you in the right direction online.  If you are looking for a particular form we can find it for you.  We can even print them for you for $0.10 a page.   If you need the websites to access the forms at home or would like the numbers to call and get your own through the mail, check out our website and click on “Income Tax Information” on our home page.

REMINDER:  We will be closed on Monday February 19 to observe President’s Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
