Hello again! I am writing this as a recent program held at
the library is fresh in my head. Tom Lemery's "Everyone
Participate" Hour was magnificent! He had the kids playing
Mad Libs, thinking up words to silly songs, reading and acting
out stories but the best part by far, was when the kids created
the "parent machine"! What is the parent machine?
Well be sure to come to Tom's next show at the library and the
kids we do an encore presentation. Young and old had a grand
time! Thanks again Tom! Check back to this column for the announcement
of Mr. Lemery's next program.
On to the rest of the news. Kiddies Korner WILL NOT meet
on Tuesday February 17. But it will resume on Tuesday February
24 with a wonderful program on Friendship. March 2 will be a
special birthday party for a very popular children's author.
Can you guess who it is?? Be sure to bring your preschool child
or grandchild in every Tuesday from 10:30-11:30am.
Wednesday February 18 will be an arts and crafts night for
all ages in the program room starting promptly at 6:30pm. Bring
your kids out for a night of fun activities and end some of those
winter blues! All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
Don't forget to stop in and buy your raffle ticket today for
"Valentine's in the Forest". The winner will be chosen
on Monday February 16, 2004. Details are as follows: 2 free
passes for an all you can eat buffet dinner, music by Michael
Sims, and horse drawn sleigh rides all at Skyline Lodge in Highland
Forest. This all happens on February 20 from 7pm -11pm. Tickets

16 to observe President's Day.
