This Friday February 1 at noon come join us for a Legislative Brunch.  Meet some of our legislators and share with them some of your great library stories!  Come show them how much you love our library!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday February 5 for “Valentine’s Day”.  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come hear songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make that week, join them February19 for “Hats.”

On Friday February 8 at 6:30pm join us for Family Movie Night.  Another, newly released movie is on the slate for showing that evening.  Join us as we watch two dads go from running a daycare center in the first movie to now a summer camp.  Enjoy this hilarious movie with your family.  Bring something comfy to sit in and popcorn will be provided.

On Wednesday February 13 at 12:15pm, we will be having a book talk, On Kingdom Mountain by Howard Frank Mosher.  Copies can be picked up now.  There are only a select number of copies so please plan ahead and read the book early.

That evening at 6:30pm, we will be having a Love Night.  Come hear some stories, play some games and make a Valentine for that someone special!

We are currently looking for volunteers.  If you have a couple hours free on a Wednesday afternoon please contact the Library Manager.  We are looking for someone to shelve books, call patrons to notify them of items being held and help out with any other activities as needed.

REMINDER:  We will be closed Monday February 18 to observe President’s Day.  We will reopen Tuesday the 19th at 10am.

Lots of new books keep arriving at the library!  Some are: Beverly Hills Dead by Stuart Woods, Jewel Trader of Pegu by Jeffrey Hantover, Sword Song by Bernard Cornwell, Food you Crave by Ellie Krieger, Duma Key by Stephen King, Secret Between Us by Barbara Delinksy, Bush Tragedy by Jacob Weisberg, Capitol Conspiracy by William Bernhardt, Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich, Senator’s Wife by Sue Miller, In Defense of Food by Michael Pollen, Last Call by James Grippando, Rhett Butler’s People by Donald McCaig, and Shadow Music by Julie Garwood.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
