Have you been in to the library yet to see the rare Brazilian Insect Collection on display in the program room? There are over 175 various different insects from butterflies, to moths, to beetles, caterpillars and lots more. If you haven't had a chance to stop in and see all the beautiful insects they will be on display through February 14.

Kiddies Korner topics are as follows: February 3-Groundhog's Day. Children will learn all about this exciting holiday. Will there be six more weeks of winter? February 10- Valentine's Day. Children will hear funny stories about Valentine's Day and make a valentine flower. Kiddies Korner is every Tuesday from 10:30am-11:30am. New schedules can be picked up from the circulation desk of all upcoming topics.

Wednesday February 4 Tom Lemery will be back with his "Everyone Participates" Story Hour. It begins at 6:30pm in the library's program room. He will involve the audience in storytelling and in song. This program is not only for the little ones, Tom will have all laughing. Come on out for a wonderful night with your family!

Be sure to stop in to the library soon and pick up your raffle ticket(s) for a romantic evening at "Valentine's in the Forest". Tickets are $4 each and will be sold until February 16 when one lucky winner will be chosen. Details are as follows: 2 free passes for an all you can eat buffet dinner, music by Michael Sims, and horse drawn sleigh rides all at Skyline Lodge in Highland Forest. This all happens on February 20 from 7pm -11pm. What a delightful Valentine gift for that special someone!

Thursday February 12 is Family Bingo Night again at the library! Please be sure to bring the entire family in at 6:30pm for a night of fun, games and prizes! All kids will win a prize!

Important reminder: We will be closed on Monday February 16 to observe President's Day.

Now that the new circulation computer system is up and running patrons can request materials again. The website for online requesting is also up and running. We would like to thank all of you for your time and patience during this recent transition.

Attention all teenagers, children and parents: We are interested in learning what programs you would like offered at the library. If there is something that you would like to attend or would like to host at the library please give us a call at 684-9130 and ask for Brian or Jessica. We are interested in clubs, programs, displays or anything. If you have an idea please call us today!

We have had several new books and videos either donated or purchased for the library. There are too many to mention here so please stop in and see all that we have to offer. Our new books are right inside the door and new movies have their own rack in the video collection. There is something for everyone!

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12-8pm and Tuesday and Saturday 10-2pm.
