    It’s autumn and the young folks are back in school and college. We’ve all raced through many a potboiler in our summer reading and now, as daylight wanes (about 3
minutes per day), there’s no reason the rest of us can’t resume our educational endeavors, along with the kids.  Lifelong learning is all the rage these days.  Consider

     Matriculate with us (get a library card) and discover the wonders of our nonfiction, literature and reference
collections.  Design a course of study for
yourself and pursue it.  Join a book club or start one on a subject of common interest.  (This fall’s MidYork Regional Read, featuring Thomas Friedman’s The World is Flat would be a great point of embarkation).
