In honor of National Library Week, April 9-15, readers throughout Oneida, Madison and Herkimer counties participated in a referendum on favorite authors this spring. More than 800 votes were cast in 39 library outlets. While both children and adults voted, children outnumbered adults. 289 different authors were nominated.
