Seniors can get free tax-filing help and direct electronic filing of their tax forms from IRS-certified volunteers from RSVP of Madison County. Senior Tax Help is available Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Oneida Library from February 1 to April 11.

For winter break, schoolchildren can stop by the library to play the new Wii game “Disney Universe,” in which participants choose their own characters, battle enemies and solve dangerous puzzles.

Candidates Night
Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Candidates running for election to the Oneida Library Board of Trustees will be available at the library for voters’ questions, while members of the Board of Trustees will be present to answer questions about the proposed library operating budget for the next fiscal year, starting July 1. The library election with the budget vote falls on Tuesday, March 6, from 12 noon until 9 p.m.
