Rhyme Time

Rhyme Time is a program of songs, rhymes, felt board stories, and finger plays for children who are 18-36 months old and are accompanied by an adult. Winter Rhyme Time is at 10:30 - 11:00 AM  Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays starting on January 6, 7  and 8 and will continue for four weeks, ending on  January 29. Please call the New Hartford Public Library at 733-1535 starting on Monday , December 29 to register for a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday session. See calendar of events.

Story Time

Story Time at the New Hartford Public Library consists of stories, songs, rhymes and crafts and is for children who are 3 - 5 years old and  are accompanied by an adult.  See calendar of events.

Library Play Group The Library Play Group is a drop in program and will be held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, from 10:30 - 11:30 AM. The play group is for children who are 4 years old and younger accompanied by an adult. There will be a story and crafts, snacks and play time with toys and books in the children's area of the Library. Upcoming drop in playgroups will be on December 12, January 9, 23. Baby Lapsit Baby Lapsit is a drop in language program of rhymes and play for Children from birth to 18 months accompanied by an adult. It will be held on the first and third Friday of the month at the Library. Upcoming Lapsits will be on December 5 and 19 and January 16 and 30, 10:30 -- 11:00 AM. See calendar of events.

Wii Play at the Library Wii Play continues at the New Hartford Public Library on Wednesdays, after school, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.  Wii Play is a drop in program for students who are 9 years and older. A variety of games are available: Mario Party, Mario Kart, Wii Sports, etc. Upcoming Wii Play will be held on December 3,10 and 17.  See calendar of events.

Crafts at the Library There will be a drop in program of crafts at the New Hartford Library for students in grades K - 3 on Monday, January 19, Martin Luther King, Jr. day from 10:00 AM - 12:30 AM. There will be a variety of crafts to explore.  See calendar of events.

Academy of Performing and Creative Arts to Showcase Excerpts from The Lion King The Musical Theater Class from the Academy of Performing and Creative Arts in Clinton will present excerpts from The Lion King, on Sunday January 18 at 2:00 PM at the New Hartford public Library. Seating is limited and advance free tickets will be available at the Library, beginning on Monday, January 12, at the circulation desk.  See calendar of events.
