School's almost out and summer is almost here!!  That means it's time for the summer reading program.  This year we have lots of fun and exciting programs to delight children (and adults) of all ages!!

Monday, July 7 marks the official start of our Summer Reading Program!! Stop in during library hours the first week to pick up your summer reading bag to get started! The bag includes a reading record, a pencil, tattoo, bookmark of activities, stickers and more!

If you read at least fifteen minutes each week, you're eligible for a weekly prize. Bring your reading record in and you'll receive the prize for that week. Sorry only one prize per child per week.

Each week there are fun and exciting activities happening at the library! We'll be making cool crafts, learning about bugs and lots more! We also have special guests: The Bubbleman performing, “Bubbling, Juggling and Mime”, Moreland the Magician and “The Day the Library Went Wild” performed by Jay Mankita, to enlighten the young and old.

If you complete at least eight hours or more before Summer Reading ends on Friday August 15, you will be invited to our Summer Reading Graduation on Wednesday August 20 at 6:30pm.  There you will receive prizes, a book, a t-shirt and more and enjoy an ice cream sundae with other fellow graduates!
