PUMPKINS FOR SALE!

Every weekend beginning Friday October 7 we will be selling pumpkins!  No pumpkin will cost more than $5.  If you would like to purchase a pumpkin stop in on the dates and times below:

Saturday October 15 4-7pm

Saturday October 22 4-7pm

***Please note: we will sell on these dates until we run out.  So get your pumpkin early!!!***

October 3-21, 2011
Ninth Annual Pumpkin Coloring Contest

Children from toddler age up to and including 6th grade may participate.  Stop in anytime during the month of October to pick up your entry form.  All entries must be returned to the library NO LATER than Saturday October 21 at 4pm.  Winners will be announced at our Halloween party.

Saturday, October 1
Apple Fest.........................................12-3pm

Join us for apple-related games, apple trivia, face painting, a bake sale and lots more!  We will also be having a chili cook-off!  Bring your chili recipe in by 2pm.  Judging begins promptly at 2:30pm.  The winner will be given the best chili recipe in Morrisville!  Participants need not be from the Morrisville area.  Anyone can enter!

Tuesday October 4
Kiddies Korner-Pets............................9:30am

PLEASE NOTE:  STORY HOUR WILL BEGIN AT 9:30AM.  THE LIBRARY WILL OPEN SPECIAL FOR STORY HOUR PARTICIPANTS ONLY.

Wednesday October 5
Fire Prevention Night...........................6:30pm

Let's learn about fire prevention.  Learn the importance of fire safety and see some special guests.

Friday October 7
Family Bingo Night...............................6:30pm

Bring the family in and play a game or two.  All kids are guaranteed a prize and adults play for fun!

Monday, October 10
Library Closed in observance of Columbus Day

Friday October 14
NYS Paranormal Research Talk............6:30pm

They will share some of their past investigations from around Central NY as well as reveal whatever they found while spending the night in the historic part of the library.  Come see what they are all about and see if our library is haunted by Lyman Kingman, someone else or no one!

Tuesday October 18

On Our Way to Alaska!.........................6:30pm

Join us as we head to the cold north!  We will be on our way to Alaska that night so be sure to join us!

Thursday October 20
Library Board of Trustees Meeting........6:30pm

Friday October 21
Book Talk-Wish You Well.....................12:15pm

Bring your lunch and join in the discussion.  The book is Wish You Well by David Baldacci.  Copies can be picked up the beginning of October.   Can't make it, grab a copy and read it anyway!

Creepy Crawly Tales & Vittles...............6:30pm

Come hear some spooky stories and taste some yummy slimy, gooey goodies to get you ready for Halloween!

Friday October 28
Halloween Party..................................6:30pm

Wear your costume and come and join us!  Listen to a story, play some games, and eat Halloween refreshments.  The winners of our coloring contest will be announced as well.
