PUMPKINS FOR SALE!

Every weekend beginning Saturday September 26th we will be selling pumpkins!  No pumpkin will cost more than $5.  If you would like to purchase a pumpkin stop in on the dates and times below:

***Please note: we will sell on these dates until we run out.  So get your pumpkin early!!!***

Seventh Annual Pumpkin Coloring Contest

Children from toddler age up to and including 6th grade may participate.  Stop in anytime during the month of October to pick up your entry form.  All entries must be returned to the library NO LATER than Saturday October 17 at 4pm.  Winners will be announced at our Halloween party.

Family Bingo Night..............................6:30pm

Come play a game or two.  Every child is guaranteed a prize and adults play for fun!

Monday October 5
Smart Seniors.....................................6:30pm

Are you a smart senior?  Learn how to protect yourself from Internet scams, phony sweepstakes, investment fraud and much more!  Sponsored by the New York State Attorney General's Office.

Tuesday October 6
Kiddies Korner-Spiders & Bugs.............9:30am

PLEASE NOTE:  STORY HOUR WILL BEGIN EARLIER NOW AT 9:30AM INSTEAD OF AT 10AM.

Friday October 9
Family Movie Night..............................6:00pm

The movie we will be watching is, Monsters vs. Aliens.  Bring something comfy to sit in and a bag of popcorn to share!

Saturday October 10
5th Annual Apple Fest................12:00-3:00pm

Join us for apple-related games, apple trivia, face painting, a bake sale and lots more!!  Be sure to enter our Chili Bake-off!  Bring your best chili recipe to the library no later than 1:30pm that day.  Judging begins promptly at 2:00pm.  (Participants need not be from the Morrisville area.  Anyone can enter!)

Join the book talk discussion on the book, The Air We Breathe, by Andrea Barrett.  Copies can be picked up in September from the circulation desk.

Internet Safety talk............................6:30pm

For teens and adults: Come learn all about Internet Safety.  Learn how to better protect yourself online.  Sponsored by the New York State Attorney General's Office.

Library Ghost Stories...........................6:30pm

Come hear some stories about library ghosts and listen to Michelle Forward, Library Manager, share about our resident Library ghost named Petey.

Friday October 30
Halloween Party..................................6:30pm

Wear your costume and come and join us!  Listen to a story, play some games, and eat Halloween refreshments.  The winners of our coloring contest will be announced as well.
