Our Pumpkin Coloring Contest is over and next week I will
have the lucky winners!
This Friday October 29 at 6pm the fun begins at the library!
It's movie night and the theme is Halloween (but not scary.)
Bring the entire family in for the movie complete with popcorn
and punch.
Kiddies Korner meets every Tuesday from 10:30-11:30am. All
children ages 1-4 are welcome to attend. Stories, songs and
crafts are done to various different topics. The topics are:
Nov 2: Smokey the Bear and Nov 9 is Teddy Bears and children
can bring in their favorite bear. A complete listing of all
the topics can be obtained at the circulation desk.
Don't miss our Dr. Seuss Story hour with Library Manager,
Brian Hildreth, on Thursday November 4 at 6:30pm. New stories,
crafts, games and more will be done so mark it on your calendars
today! It's open to ages 1 and up.
The Polar Express movie is coming to theaters. Did you know
that it was based on Chris Van Allsburg's book, The Polar Express?
Come join us on Friday November 5 at 6:30pm to hear the story,
play some games and make a few crafts to take home.
On Thursday November 11 Bingo is back at the library. Bring
the family in for a game or two. Kids win cool prizes and adults
play for fun. Refreshments will be provided. All the fun begins
at 6:30pm.
Our next book talk is Friday November 12 at 7pm. The book
being discussed is The Awakening by Kate Chopin. Copies can
still be obtained at the circulation desk. Stop in and pick
up your copy today!
2004 is the year of the Angels so our Christmas tree will
be decorated in Angels. We are having our first ornament workshop
on Saturday November 13 at 10:30am. These will be simple and
easy for all ages to do; young and old. Bring the family in
and make a few for our tree. There will be another workshop
with different ornaments to make at a later date. I will have
more details next week.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12-8pm
and Tuesday and Saturday 10-2pm.
