Family Bingo Night is back on Thursday October 14 at 6:30pm. Kids play for cool prizes and adults play for fun! Bring the entire family in for a game or two!

Kiddies Korner is meeting every week again! On Tuesday October 12 the topic is Fire Prevention and on Tuesday October 19 the topic is Autumn/Pumpkins. Come on out and join us for some books, a craft and more. All the fun begins at 10:30am. A complete listing of all the topics can be obtained at the circulation desk.

The movie, Fahrenheit 451, will be playing at the Hamilton Movie Theater on Monday October 18 and Wednesday October 20. The show is free and starts at 7pm. This is sponsored by the Morrisville, Hamilton and Earlville Public Libraries. Come in and grab a copy of Ray Bradbury's book now and then treat yourself to the movie after reading it. Be sure to bring a friend and compare the movie and the book. I can guarantee that the book is better than the movie…they always are!

We have some new books to share with you this week. They are in fiction: Nights of Rain and Stars by Maeve Binchy and The Dark Tower by Stephen King. In mystery we have Patricia Cornwell's new one, Trace and Alexander McCall Smith's new one, The Sunday Philosophy Club. In non fiction we have Diane Thiel's The White Horse. Stop in and check out one of these or the many, many other new books on our shelves today!

I would like to send a big thank you out to all the people who have donated books and materials to the library over the last few weeks. People like you keep the library going strong! Thanks!

Some books up for adoption are: Sacred Stone by Clive Cussler, Prince of Beverly Hills by Stuart Woods, Northern Lights by Nora Roberts, Emeril's Potluck by Emeril Lagasse, If I Knew Then… by Amy Fisher and The Grim Grotto Book 11 by Lemony Snicket. Please stop in and view the list and adopt one of these books today.

Some movies up for adoption are: 13 going on 30, Mean Girls, The Alamo, Sniper 3, Fahrenheit 9/11, Raising Helen and Five Days to Midnight.

Be sure to come in and grab some books for the beautiful fall weather ahead! We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12-8pm and Tuesday and Saturday 10-2pm.
