On Wednesday August 30 at 6:30pm come to the library for Kindermusik!  Join Amy Hathaway for a demonstration class titled, "Animals Everywhere".  This is a music and movement program for newborns to age 5.

The Morrisville-Eaton School District begins school on Thursday September 7th.  Join us as we “Wrap Up Summer” at the library on Wednesday September 6 at 6:30pm.  Make a special delicious treat, hear a story or two and do some activities.  Then head home to get ready for school!

Calling all school age children and their parents!!  Be sure to join us on Friday September 8 at 6:30pm for Pictionary game night and escape from school!  Bring your artistic abilities and join in the fun!!

Join us on Wednesday September 13 at 6:30pm for Teddy Bear Night.  Bring your favorite teddy bear(s) and hear some stories, play some games, do some fun bear activities and more!

Sue Greenhagen, Village and Town historian, will be bringing her Magical History Tour back to our library on Monday September 18 at 6:30pm.  I can tell you it’s a magnificent program and one to see again!  Come and see the changes that have occurred in this area.  Her program will have you leave saying, “No way!”

Be sure to view the St. Hilaire family’s sports card collection on display now in the front foyer.  Guess how many cards are in the shoebox; whoever’s the closest will win the cards!  Purchase some sports card grab bags at the circulation desk.  100 cards for a $1.  All proceeds go to purchase children’s books.

Many of you know, but for the ones who don’t, we are saddened to see our Program Director, Jessica Jacobs-Broedel, leave our library.  She will be the new Morrisville-Eaton Elementary School Librarian.  We will miss her but at the same time are glad that she will still be working with our children at a school level.  Good Luck Jess!!

We have hired Jessica’s replacement, Mary Ellis; she goes by her middle name Jane.  She is from Georgetown, has three children and is anxious to bring programming to our library!!  Stop in and say hello and join her for the upcoming programs.

We are interested in doing a “Back to School” display in the front foyer.  If you have any school memorabilia that you would like to display please contact me.  Thank you!

Reminder:  We will be closed on Monday September 4 to observe Labor Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
