Summer reading is over! We had 27 children graduate at our graduation ceremony on Wednesday August 9. The kids read a total of 396 hours. Congratulations to Jarrod Davis, Jennifer Forward, Toby Forward, Heather Gorton, Heidi Gorton, Darren Grabow, Kirsten Grabow, Cambrie Hamilton, Connor Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton, Cameron Lake, Dale Lake, Jocelyn Martin, Tristan Martin, Kirsten Markowski, Lyla O’Hara, Tyler Overton, Ben Parry, Kasey Riggall, Tommy Riggall, Molly-Anne Smith, Rhothghar Smith, Timothy St. Hilaire, Calixto Suarez, Nick Suarez, Eric Wilcox and Andy Zamora. Each child received a t-shirt, certificate, treasure chest and a book. To end the evening we had an ice cream social. It was a fun event! Be sure to join us next summer!! rug hookers on Monday August 21 at On Wednesday August 30 at Check out the Community Artwork Project on display now in the Library’s Program room. The theme is our summer reading program, Books: A Treasure. Young and old came and made pieces to hang. Stop in and view the artistic talents of the community. We are looking for volunteers or families to clean the library. All it takes is a couple hours once a week and you would be helping us out tremendously. I am setting up a schedule of people and if you would like to volunteer for one month (or more) please let me know! We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday |
