We are holding a Mobil gas card raffle!  Tickets can be purchased from any library board member or staff as well as at the circulation desk.  Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  First prize is a $100 gas card at Mobil and second prize is a $50 Mobil gas card.  The drawing will be held on May 1^st. With the gas prices rising, won’t it be wonderful to win our raffle?

We are also having an Easter basket raffle.  Tickets may be purchased like above, from board members or at the circulation desk.  Tickets are $1 apiece.  There will be one adult basket filled with flowers that can serve as a centerpiece for your Easter dinner (and then planted outside after), and one children’s Easter basket filled with Easter goodies!  The drawing will be held on Friday April 14.

Proceeds from both raffles will go to fund our Madison County Bicentennial celebration.  Details on that will follow soon.

The E.R. Andrews students have their art on display now in the library’s program room.  Stop in during library hours and view the magnificent exhibit.  It will be on display until April 6. 

Be sure to join our next book talk this Friday March 31 at 7pm.  The ever so popular book, Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini will be discussed.  Copies can be obtained now at the circulation desk.  If you can’t make it to the talk but would like to read the book, stop in and grab a copy today!

The Friends of the Library are having their annual meeting on Tuesday April 11 at 7pm.  All new and old Friends members as well as any one interested in being a Friend are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Election of officers will take place.  Refreshments will be served.

Join us for Family Bingo night on Friday April 14 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room.  All kids are guaranteed a prize and adults play for fun.  Be sure to join us this month as we will be taking a break from bingo for a few months.  Refreshments will be provided.

Jennifer Forward’s cow collection is on display in the front foyer.  Don’t forget to view them upon entering or leaving the building!

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
