March is Women’s History month!  Be sure to view Karen Jacobs Women’s History display in the front foyer.  It will be on display the entire month of March.

Kiddies Korner will be back on Tuesday March 14 learning about monkeys. Bring your toddler or preschooler in for stories, activities and more!  All the fun begins at 10:30am.   If you can’t make it that day, join them for baby farm animals on March 28.

Family Bingo Night is back on Friday March 10 at 6:30pm.  Bring the family in for a game or two!  All kids are guaranteed to win a prize and adults play for fun!

Friday March 10 we will be displaying in the program room various different young artists from the E.R. Andrews Elementary School.  Stop in and see the budding artists.  A reception will be held on Saturday March 18 from 12-2pm as well.  Stop in and meet some of the artists, view their work and have some cookies and punch.

Our next adult book talk will be Friday March 31 at 7pm.  The book being discussed in March is the Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.  Copies can be obtained now at the circulation desk.  April’s book talk will be “bring your own book to share”.  Bring a book (or two) that you thought was fabulous to share with the rest.

It’s tax season.  Have your forms yet?  We did not receive forms this year.  We can and will be more than happy to assist you in getting the right form(s) and printing them from the Internet.  Copies are 10¢ a page.  Stop in during library hours for assistance.  If you would like to call the IRS and state and have the forms sent to you, the numbers are:  IRS- 1-800-829-3676 and the State- 1-800-462-8100.  If you have a computer at home and would like to print the forms yourself you can access our website, www.midyork.org/morrisvillle.  Click on “tax information” from our homepage.

Don’t forget we have extended our hours of operation!  We are open longer on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
