The Friends Annual Silent Auction ends Friday at 8pm!  Stop in during library hours and view the display in the program room.  See an item that will make a good Christmas gift, or just like something—bid on it and you might win!

On Friday December 14 from 5-8pm stop into the library for the Friends Annual Open House.  Grab some homemade goodies, chat with the friends members, view their wonderful tree and have one last chance to bid on the Silent Auction.

CALLING ALL KIDS:  Stop into the library on Monday December 17 at 6:30pm to make gifts for mom and dad for Christmas.  We will even wrap them for you too!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday December 18 for “Christmas”.  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come here songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make that week, join them January 8 for “Snowmen”.

On Friday December 21 at 6:30pm, join us for O Christmas Tree Night.  This program was scheduled for Monday December 3 but we had to cancel due to heating problems.  So instead of the Winter Holidays program originally scheduled this day, we are going to learn about Christmas trees and do some awesome activities as well.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:  The library will be closed from Monday December 24 and will not reopen until Wednesday January 2 to observe the winter holidays.  Please be sure to get enough materials to last through that week.  Place your holds on items now to get them before the holiday closure.  Our library staff is ready and waiting to assist you!

Lots of new books are arriving on our shelves these days!  Just in time for the holidays!  Come in today and check them out!  Some are:  Fair Game by Valerie Plame Wilson, Christmas Promise by Donna VanLiere, All the Pretty Girls by JT Ellison, Double Abduction by Chris Beakey, Born Standing up by Steve Martin, How to Cook Everything Vegetarian by Mark Bittman, The Pirate’s Daughter by Margaret Cezair-Thompson, Winter Roses by Diana Palmer, American Creation by Joseph Ellis and The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz.

Coming soon are the following books: All Through the Night by Suzanne Brockmann, Boom by Tom Brokaw, Christmas Wishes by Debbie Macomber, Dark of the Moon by John Sandford, T is for Trespass by Sue Grafton, Venetian Betrayal by Steve Berry and The Watchman by Ian Rankin.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
