Join Nancy McPherson on Monday December 8 at 6:30pm as she presents the program, Christmas in Japan!  She will discuss her experiences with Japan exchange students during the holiday season and talk about what Christmas is like in Japan.  This is open to the whole family!

Friday December 12 from 5-8pm, the Friends will be hosting their annual Open House.  Join the Friends and staff members for some tasty goodies.  Bid on the Friends Annual Silent Auction and see the Christmas tree!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, will meet again on December 16 for “HO, HO, HO-Merry Christmas!”  PLEASE NOTE: Due to scheduling, the program will start at 9:30am and run until 10:30am.  The library will be open at 9:30am for story hour participants only!

Join us on Friday December 19 at 6:30pm as we talk about Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.  Learn about these holidays and make some fun crafts and play some games!

The Friends Annual Silent Auction has begun!!!!  Be sure to stop in during library hours and make your bid on some of the wonderful items!  Do some of your Christmas shopping with us!

We are collecting new and unwrapped toys for the foster children of Madison County.  Please buy a toy or two, hygiene products like toothbrushes or hairbrushes, mittens, hats etc. for these children to receive on Christmas.  The complete list of items is posted at the circulation desk.  We will be collecting until Saturday December 13 at 4pm.

Please note:  The library closes early on Christmas Eve at 4pm.  The Library will also be closed for the winter holidays beginning Thursday December 25 through Thursday January 1.  We will reopen Friday January 2 at noon.

We are in dire need of new programming room chairs.  We are starting a collection to purchase them.  If you would like to contribute please send, or stop in and drop off a monetary donation.  Checks can be made to the Morrisville Public Library.  Thank you for your contribution!
