We are now accepting donations for the Friends Annual Silent Auction.  Donations can be such things as new objects, hand-crafted items, art works, gift certificates, donations from businesses, etc., with a minimum value of $5.00.  We will not be accepting USED items this year.  We will be collecting things until Friday November 30.  The Friends will NOT accept items after November 30 and they reserve the right to refuse anything they do not feel will sell.  Please bring your items in during library hours.

Join us for Family Movie Night this Friday November 30 at 6:30pm.  We will be viewing Tim Allen in Santa Clause 3!  Bring something comfy to sit in and popcorn will be provided.  Start the holiday season with us!

Bring the kids in and join us for “Oh Christmas Tree” on Monday December 3 at 6:30pm.  We will be learning and having fun with another symbol of the holiday season...the tree!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday December 4 for “I am Feeling”.  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come here songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make that week, join them December 18 for “Christmas”.

On Wednesday December 5 at 12:30pm we will be having a Lunch Book Talk.  The book being discussed is Patricia MacLachlan's Baby.  Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk.  Bring in your lunch and join in the discussion.

On Friday December 14 from 5-8pm stop into the library for the Friends Annual Open House.  Grab some homemade goodies, chat with the friends members, view their wonderful tree and have one last chance to bid on the Silent Auction.

Don’t forget to grab a few books to read during the busy holiday season that is fast approaching!  There is nothing like escaping into a good book when things get stressful!  Lots of new books are arriving daily on our new shelves.  Some are:  Finding Father Christmas by Robin Jones Gunn, Fresh Kills by Reggie Nadelson, Good Dog Stay by Anna Quindlen, I am America by Stephen Colbert, Long Walk Home by Will North, Missing by Sarah Langan, Mozart’s Sister by Rita Charbonnier, New Year’s Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini, Sew What: Fleece by Carol Jessop, Snow Angel by Jamie Carie, Sound of Butterflies by Rachael King, Wednesday Letters by Jason Wright, and When Ghosts Speak by Mary Ann Winkowski.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
