The winners of our sixth annual pumpkin coloring contest are:  Toddler to Kindergarten- 1^st- Ashton Dailey, 2^nd- Jonathon Moe, 3^rd- Logan Hosler.  First grade to third grade- 1^st- Kirston Markowski, 2^nd- Evelyn Jayson, 3^rd- Scott Griffin. Fourth grade to sixth grade- 1^st- Breck Newton, 2^nd- Ava Schuh, 3^rd- Alexis Jayson.  Congratulations to all the winners and to the 121 people who entered the contest.  I also need to thank the residents of the Crouse Community Center for judging the entries again this year.

Family Bingo night is back this Friday November 7 at 6:30pm.  Bring the family in and play a game or two!!!  All kids are guaranteed a prize!!!!

On Friday November 14 at 7pm, the Book Talk group will be meeting again to discuss Willa Cather’s book, My Antonia.  Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk.

Join us for Pilgrims at Plymouth night on Monday November 17 at 6:30pm.  Come and learn about the first Thanksgiving with us!  Stories, crafts and lots more!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, will meet again on November 18 for “Books I am Thankful for!”   PLEASE NOTE: Due to scheduling, the program will start at 9:30am and run until 10:30am.  The library will be open at 9:30am for story hour participants only!  If you can’t make that day, join us on December 2 for “Sheep Say Baa!” Bring your toddler or preschool child in and hear some stories, songs and more!

The Friends will be collecting donations for their Annual Silent Auction beginning on Wednesday November 12 until Saturday November 29 during library hours.  Donations can be such things as hand-crafted items, art works, gift certificates, donations from businesses, etc., with a minimum value of $5.00.  We will not be accepting USED items.  New or handmade is acceptable as well as the above mentioned things.  Please drop your items off at the library!  Thank you for your continued support.

Please note:  We will be closed on Tuesday November 11 to observe Veteran’s Day.  We will reopen on Wednesday November 12 at noon.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday November 18 at 6:30pm.  The public is welcome to attend.

We are in dire need of new programming room chairs.  We are starting a collection to purchase them.  If you would like to contribute please send, or stop in and drop off a monetary donation.  Checks can be made to the Morrisville Public Library.  Thank you for your contribution!
