Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday October 23 for “Boo!  Did I Scare You?”  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come here songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make that week, join them November 6 for “Let’s Be Silly”.

This Friday October 26 at 6:30pm will be our Family Movie Night.  The movie showing is Meet the Robinsons.  Bring something comfy to sit in and we will provide the popcorn!  We now show the movie on the wall and it’s more like a movie theater setting.  Hope to see you there!

On Monday October 29 at 6:30pm, we will be having a Halloween party!  Dress up in your Halloween best and play some games, eat some goodies, do some cool activities and more!  Winners of our coloring contest will be announced as well.

On Friday November 2 at 6:30pm join us for Family Feud!  Bring the family in and play the feud.  We will make teams that night!   (Please note:  "families" don't have to be relatives.  Grab a few of your friends and join in the fun!)  It will be tournament style until we find the ultimate “family” winners!

For all the people who completed the Flat Quiz, the Flat Food Party will be Monday November 5 at 6:30pm.  Get those quizzes in! Flat Quizzes need to be returned to the library by 8pm on October 31.  Any adult or child completing one is welcome to attend this event!

The Book Talk for November will be Ahab’s Wife by Sena Naslund.  Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk.  Then join us for an enlightening discussion with facilitator, Roxanna Pisiak, on Friday November 9 at 7pm.

Be sure to check out the fascinating display in the Library’s Program Room.  The Morrisville Historic Preservation Commission has their local landmarks on display.  The pictures are phenomenal and the pieces of history found for each is interesting to read.  It will be on display from now until the middle of November.

Also, Maxine Hunter has a little bit of South Korea on display in the front foyer display case.  Come see the wonderful pieces she has brought back from her journeys there.

The library will be closed on Monday November 12 to observe Veteran’s Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
