Calling all school age children and their parents!!  Be sure to join us this Friday September 8 at 6:30pm for Pictionary game night and escape from school!  Bring your artistic abilities and join in the fun!!

Join us on Wednesday September 13 at 6:30pm for Teddy Bear Night.  Bring your favorite teddy bear(s) and hear some stories, play some games, do some fun bear activities and more!

Sue Greenhagen, Village and Town historian, will be bringing her Magical History Tour back to our library on Monday September 18 at 6:30pm.  I can tell you it’s a magnificent program and one to see again!  Come and see the changes that have occurred in this area.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday September 19 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room.  The public is welcome to attend.

Join Eric Wilcox, MECS High School student and library volunteer, as he teaches us how to boondoggle on Friday September 22 at 6:30pm.  Make a key chain to take home.  Due to the difficulty of this, we are asking that children 6 and up (as well as adults) come but please leave the little ones at home.  They will be unable to create a key chain and we don’t want to upset them.

Our Adult Book Talk will be resuming on Friday October 6 at 7pm. The book to be read is The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien.  Books can be picked up now at the circulation desk.

We have been buying books all summer!  Here are some that we now have on our shelves!  Be sure to look for them or ask any library staff member to place a hold for you.
