Our theme for September and October is Thrills and Chills. Lots of fun and exciting things will be going on then!  On Wednesday September 10 at 6:30pm, join us for Hurray for Superheroes!  Come and join us as we learn about superheroes!  There will be stories, games and we will even design our own superhero costumes!

Please check out the amazing artwork by Bobbie Scarpino-Trendell in the program room now.  Also check out Maxine Hunter’s Elves/Gnomes display in the front foyer display case.

Our literacy bags are ready for checkout!  What is a literacy bag?  It’s a cloth bag for children and inside awaits some fun things!  There is a book, a cassette or CD with the story on it, an activity or prop pertaining to the book, and a list of fun activities to do at home about that theme.  So please, stop in and look at them in the children’s room.

We are in dire need of new programming room chairs.  We are starting a collection to purchase them.  If you would like to contribute please send, or stop in and drop off a monetary donation.  Checks can be made to the Morrisville Public Library.  Thank you for your contribution!

Don’t forget, September is National Library Card Month!  If you don’t have a library card, stop in and get one today!

Please note:  We will be closed on Monday September 1 to observe Labor Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
