Summer Reading is in full swing! Be
sure to stop in and record your minutes and pick out a weekly prize! Only two more weeks left to read the entire
eight hours to participate in the graduation program! Lots of neat things to give away that night
to all our graduates!!
Join us on Monday August 30 at 6:30pm,
as we try to “Dig it Up”! Dig up ancient
Egypt! Learn about mummies and pyramids, make a
pyramid to take home and do some cool activities!
On Wednesday August 1 at 1pm,
the Kids Project will be performing. The
Central New York Developmental Services Office will be performing a short
puppet show.
Be sure to join us and the Madison County Sheriff’s evidence van on Friday
August 3 at 6:30pm as we
“Solve the Mystery” at the library. They
will show us the neat things they use to investigate a crime and even try to
lift some fingerprints off some books! I
will know who checked out some of my most popular books!
On Wednesday August 8 ay 6:30pm
the Priceteeni Flea Circus returns! This
is MUCH MORE than just a regular flea circus... It's an entertainment event
that is the fun of Vaudeville, with the thrill of the circus! Please bring this entire family to this event
for a fun-filled evening!
Summer reading ends on Friday August 10 at 8pm. Be sure all
reading records are in by that time.
Every child who has read at least eight hours will be invited to our
graduation ceremony on Wednesday August 15 at 6:30pm. Lots of
prizes will be handed out that night, as well as a certificate, book, t-shirt
and more! Mr. Suarez will be back making
his awesome ice cream sundaes. Kids who
have been there before know that Mr. Suarez likes to change the names of the
delicious toppings to things much more exciting!!
Also on Friday August 10, at 6:30pm
we will be having Bingo Night at the library.
Bring the family in for a game or two.
All kids are guaranteed a prize and refreshments will be provided.
