Our Summer Reading Program has begun!  The theme this year is “Catch the Reading Bug!”  Stop in to the library if you haven’t yet signed up!

Tom Lemery, Local Storyteller, cannot make Friday July 18 at 6:30pm, for his Buggy Stories!  But be sure to see him on Wednesday July 30 at 6:30pm instead!

Want to catch some bugs?  Join us on Monday July 21 at 6:30pm as we go on a bug scavenger hunt.  Search for a variety of bugs and nature items.  Everyone wins a prize!  We need adults to head the teams so please join us!!!

Moreland the Magician is back with his “Catch The Reading Bug” magic show on Wednesday July 23 at 6:30pm.  Please bring the family in and join us!

On Friday July 25 at 6:00pm (note different time), we will be having another Family Movie Night!  The movie being shown is How to Eat Fried Worms.  Bring something comfy to sit in and refreshments will be provided.

We are bringing the Kwahadi Dancers to Morrisville on Sunday July 27 at 2pm at Madison Hall.  Come see them present their colorful pageant of song, dance and stories of the American Indian.  A free will donation will be accepted at the door.  Parking will be available on the street, at Brooks Hall, Keybank, Copesetic, Haylor Freyer and Coon and at the library. 

On Monday July 28 at 6:30pm, we will be having a Buggy Fear Factor night.  We will play our own version of the hit TV show, Fear Factor.  There will be a buggy obstacle course, buggy trivia and followed by some delicious bug treats!

Join us on Friday August 1 at 6:30pm for the Johnston Bee Farm as Local Bee Farmer, Mike Johnston, will share about his trade.  If you are a honey lover this is the program for you!

Please note:  The Library Board of Trustees has changed their meeting to Tuesday July 22 at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.

Lots of new books are here!  Just a few are:  Last Patriot by Brad Thor, Tribute by Nora Roberts, Silent Thunder by Iris Johansen, Rogue by Danielle Steel, Swan Peak by James Lee Burke, Last Oracle by James Rollins, Chasing Darkness by Robert Crais, and My Sister, My Love by Joyce Carol Oates.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
