Charlie Parker, Phyllis Parker’s grandson, drew the winning name of the Father’s Day Raffle a few weeks ago. The winner was Rhothghar Smith of Morrisville. Congratulations Rhoth! Our Summer Reading Program, “Be Creative @ your Library”, is going strong! This is open to all kids ages 1-17. Be sure to stop in and sign your child up for the program. Just have your child read at least 10 hours during the program. If completing this requirement, your child will be invited to attend our graduation ceremony complete with prizes and ice cream sundaes! This Friday July 17 at 6:30pm we are calling all artists young and old to help us draw all over the program room! Supplies will be provided; come help us to create a masterpiece! Join us for Musical Stories on Wednesday July 22 at 6:30pm. There will be delightful, music filled tales to listen to as well as crafts and games! Tired of the old bingo? Join us on Friday July 24 at 6:30pm as we play several unique versions of this popular game and every child wins a prize!!! The Friends Annual Book Sale will be on Saturday July 25 from 8am to 2pm. Stop in and get some great books at great prices to read over the summer! Join us on Monday July 27 at 6:30pm as we get creative with food! Not supposed to play with your food? We are ignoring that rule tonight! We will be making lots of things out of food as well as having a food sculpture contest! On Friday July 31 at 6:30pm join us for Leon Etienne, Illusionist! He will be here sharing his famous magic tricks and illusions! He has over ten year’s professional experience and he is sure to leave you in awe and wonder! Lots of new books on our shelves; stop in and check some out today! We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. |
