Our Summer Reading Program, “Be Creative @ your Library”, begins next week!  Our program begins on Monday and runs until Saturday August 15.  The summer reading program is open to all kids ages 1-17.  Spend the summer with us as we get creative at the library!

Be sure to stop in anytime next week and sign your child up for the program.  Then through the course of the next six weeks your child needs to read at least 10 hours.  If completing this requirement, your child will be invited to attend our graduation ceremony complete with prizes and ice cream sundaes!

To kick off our summer reading program, join us on Wednesday July 8 at 6:30pm for the Spoonman!  You are sure to laugh and have a great time and I guarantee you will never look at spoons the same way again!  This is a family fun event so bring the entire family in!

Family Movie Night is back on Friday July 11 at 6:00pm.  We will be watching the movie, Inkheart, a fantasy movie based on the novel.  Bring something comfy to sit in and a bag of popcorn to share!

On Monday July 13 at 6:30pm, Joann Bartlett will be here to share about Phrenology.  Come have the bumps and fissures on your head read and see what they say about your personality!  Bring the entire family in and learn about this cool hobby that was very popular back in the early 1900’s.

On Friday July 17 at 6:30pm we are calling all artists young and old to help us draw all over the program room!  Supplies will be provided; come help us to create a masterpiece!

We will be closed this Saturday July 4 to observe Independence Day.

Some great books are in for summer reading!  Too many to list here so stop in today and check some out!

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
