Summer Reading will start soon!  The theme this year is “Get A Clue @ your Library”.  Join us in July and August for lots of fun!  Monday, July 9 marks the official start of our Summer Reading Program!! Stop in during library hours the first week to pick up your summer reading bag to get started! The bag includes a reading record, a pencil, tattoo, bookmark of activities, stickers and more!

If you read at least fifteen minutes each week, you're eligible for a weekly prize. Bring your reading record in and you'll receive the prize for that week. Sorry only one prize per child per week.

If you complete at least eight hours or more before summer reading ends on Friday August 10, you will be invited to our Summer Reading Graduation on Wednesday August 15 at 6:30pm.  There you will receive prizes, a book, a t-shirt and more and enjoy an ice cream sundae with other fellow graduates!

On Monday July 2 at 7pm the library will be hosting a Jazz, Blues and Libraries, Too! Concert.  The Paul Carlon Octet will be performing.  If it should rain, the rain Site is Madison Hall.  Bring the family out to hear some wonderful music!!

Join us for See Saw Science on Wednesday July 11 at 6:30pm. Hear some cool stories, do some neat experiments and make some crafts too!

Our second and final Jazz, Blues and Libraries, Too! Concert will be on Thursday July 12 at 7pm.  Come hear the Rick Montalbano Quartet.  If it should rain, the rain site is once again Madison Hall.

Pictionary Night is back on Friday July 13 at 6:30pm.  Bring the family in and see who can draw better!  Refreshments will be provided.

Moreland the Magician is returning to the library on Monday July 16 at 6:30pm.  Where is the missing library card?  Who took it and why?  These are the mysteries David Moreland, the magician, will try to unravel in his new show.  Bring the entire family in and help figure out the mystery!

Lots of new books are arriving daily!  Some are:  Double Take by Catherine Coulter, Cat O’Nine Tales by Jeffrey Archer, Lean Mean Thirteen by Janet Evanovich, Innocent as Sin by Elizabeth Lowell, Stalin’s Ghost by Martin Cruz Smith, Diana Chronicles by Tim Brown, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, The Terror by Dan Simmons, and The Religion by Tim Willocks.

Be sure to browse our new shelves today!  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
