If you would like to learn basic sewing then we have a program for you!  Jody Luce, local seamstress, will be here on Monday June 16 at 6:30pm to show you!  Space is limited and you MUST sign up at the circulation desk now.

Join us on Friday June 20 at 6pm (please note change in time), for our family movie night.  The movie being shown is the first National Treasure.  Join us the following Friday June 27 at 6pm for National Treasure part 2.  As always, popcorn is provided.  Just bring something comfy to sit in.

Former Library employee, Bette Slocum, will be back on Monday July 23 at 6:30pm, to share her love of crocheting.  She will have samples on display and will teach anyone who is willing to learn how to do it.  All participants must bring a skein of yarn and a medium crochet hook.

On Wednesday June 25 at 6:30pm, Tom Lemery will be here to share his love of theater.  He will show you some different forms create a small skit with you and lots more.  Be sure to join him for a great time!

On display now in the Program Room is some of the High School Art!  Be sure to stop in and see it!  It will be on display until June 14.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet again on Tuesday June 17 at 6:30pm in the Library’s Program room.  The public is welcome to attend.

We are now circulating children’s educational games.  Please stop in and check them out!  They are in the children’s room with our other multi-kits.

We are starting a graphic novel collection.  If you have any rated G or PG graphic novels you would like to donate to this collection please see me.

College is over and you have all these textbooks leftover that the school won’t let you trade in?  Donate them to our library!  We are accepting textbooks that are newer than 2005 to sell in our online bookstore.  What a way to help out the library while cleaning your house! 

Lots of new books are on our shelves!  Here are just a few:  Blue Smoke and Murder by Elizabeth Lowell, Reapers by John Connolly, Shadow of Power by Steve Martini, Death and Honor by WEB Griffin, Nothing to Lose by Lee Child, Plague Ship by Clive Cussler, Resolution by Robert Parker, When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris, Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith, Wolf at the Table by Augusten Burroughs, Voyage Long and Strange by Tony Horowitz, Shadow Command by Dale Brown, and Executive Privilege by Phillip Margolin.

The weather is warmer, grab a few good books and head outside to read.  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
