Join the “Share your Own Book” book talk this Friday May 16 at 7pm.  Read a book (or two) and come and share with the rest of the group. Roxanna Pisiak will facilitate this discussion.  What a way to get a list of great books to read this summer!

On Saturday May 17 from 1pm to 4pm (or longer) we are having Scrapbooking at the library!  Need to find time to scrapbook?  In a rut and need new ideas?  Bring your tools and pages and join us!  Work on your current project with other fellow scrapbookers in the area.

On Wednesday May 21 at 6:30pm join us for Hands on Clay!  Come hear some stories about clay and get some hands on experience as you create something to take home.

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday May 27 for “I Scream for Ice Cream!”  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  This is our last story hour until fall.  Be sure to bring your child in one last time for some fun and ice cream!  I would like to take the time to thank Robin Suarez, our storyteller, for putting on another wonderful year of Kiddies Korner.  The kids love to hear her stories and wonder what she will do next.  She is amazing and I thank you, Robin, for all you do for the library!

Family Bingo is back on Friday May 30 at 6:30pm.  Bring the family in for some bingo complete with refreshments and prizes for the kids!  Stop in and play a game or two!  All kids are guaranteed a prize!

On Tuesday May 20 at 6:30pm, the Library Board of Trustees will meet again.  The public is welcome to attend.

Please note:  We will be closed on Monday May 26 to observe Memorial Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday May 27 at 10am.

We are starting a graphic novel collection.  If you have any rated G or PG graphic novels you would like to donate to this collection please see me.

Lots of new books have arrived!  Check them out today!  Some are: Sunday at Tiffany’s by James Patterson, Yum-o!: The Family Cookbook by Rachael Ray, Phantom Prey by John Sandford, Careless in Red by Elizabeth George, From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris, Skeletons at the Feast by Christopher Bohjalian, Small Favor by Jim Butcher, and Belong to Me by Marisa De los Santos.

With the weather getting warmer, grab a few good books and head outside to read.  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
