Have you been outside enjoying the nice weather?  Are you working on your yard, doing some landscaping, maybe starting to plan your garden?  We have books on these topics at the library and can also order more from other libraries in the Mid York Library System (which is free!).  Stop in and have us assist you today!

Kiddies Korner will be about “Yummy Treats on Tuesday May 22 at 10:30am. Bring your toddler or preschool child in for stories, songs, activities and more!  This is the last meeting of Kiddies Korner until October.

Family Bingo is back at the library this Friday May 11 at 6:30pm.  All kids are guaranteed a prize!  Refreshments will be provided.  Stop in and play a game or two!

Join our Gameboy Club and play with other gameboy enthusiasts.  Join them this Saturday May 12 from 2-4pm.  You can only bring 3 games with your gameboy and EVERYTHING must be marked with your name.

On Monday May 14 at 6:30pm, join us as we learn about Family Traditions.  Come learn about family traditions and family values in today's society.  See what you can do to keep your family talking and enjoying life.

Join us on Friday May 18 at 7pm, as we thank the Boy Scouts and Morrisville Rotary for purchasing and donating a die cut machine to the library.  The unveiling will occur that night and refreshments will be served.  We will show the public how to use it as well.  It will be open for the adult public use.  No children can use it as it is a cutting system.  Adult patrons will be able to bring in their own paper and use the machine.  This is another service we will provide our library patrons.

Scrapbooking Club returns on Saturday May 19 from 1-4pm.  If you need the time to scrapbook join us this day.  Bring your tools and pages and join the club!  Work on your current project with other fellow scrapbookers in the area.

Please join us as we celebrate the Pursuit of Happiness.  We were awarded the “We the People Bookshelf” grant and have received several books on this topic.  Come help us learn about the Pursuit of Happiness on Wednesday May 23 at 6:30pm for Aesop’s Fables Night. Come hear some fables, make your own and do some really neat activities.   Soon, when I get them all finished, these books will be on display for checking out.

On Friday May 25 at 6:30pm join us for our first ever Family Movie Night. We will be viewing the movie, "Because of Winn Dixie".  Bring something comfy to sit in if you would like.  Popcorn will be provided.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday May 15 at 6:30pm in the library’s program room.  The public is welcome to attend.  If you would like to attend, please use the program room door as the library is closed during the meeting.

Important reminder:  The Library will be closed on Monday May 28 to observe Memorial Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday May 29 at 10am.
